A high ranking on search engines has proven to be one of the most effective and targeted form of advertising on the Internet.
And getting listed on the first three results pages is absolutely necessary to improve your site visibility.
As a consequence, you need to constantly monitor your web site ranking and to verify how successful the search engine
optimization software is.
To fulfill your needs, Shiny has developed an innovative proprietary system: Search Engine Ranking Detection (SERD),
which offers you the following advantages:
- SERD is an objective measure method to control the effectiveness of your Search Engine
optimization strategy
- SERD is an online feature of ShinyStat Business and it does not require any software installation
- The site ranking is automatically checked by SERD on the major Search Engines
- SERD tracks the site ranking in relation to any keyword used by surfers to query the Search Engine and reach your site
SERD is the tool which allows you to monitor your improvements, compare your performance against your competitors and develop
a successful site by choosing the best ranking strategy. SERD is expressly designed to quantify the success of your site and
determine its ranking as follows:

The overall ranking of the tracked site on a Search Engine calculated as the average position in relation to the
total search keywords
- Ranking per Keyword (one Search Engine)

This report plays an important role in analyzing the visitor's interest in each page of your site.
Processing the data offered by this section, you can identify the most popular pages and note a very interesting
series of parameters, such as the average time spent on pages and how many times a page is used to access (entry)
or leave your site.
Thanks to the search field you can easily retrieve a group of pages, typing, for instance, the name of their directory.
This report will help you understand which content is the most popular among your users, in order to give it
greater visibility or, on the contrary, to choose a more effective way to make the less popular content stand out.
|
Page Views per Visitor |
 |
This report shows the average number of pages a user views during his visit. This data - maybe better than any
others - can be compared to several data, gaining different relevance depending on the type of site you are examining.
For example, a high number of page views per visit along with a short time spent on pages will have a different
meaning depending on the content of the web page you are monitoring.
