Visits Path |
 |
A visit path is the sequence of pages viewed by a visitor during a visit session. An in-depth analysis of the
paths the visitors take through your site is extremely useful to test your site usability and effectiveness. This
report helps you find out the most used visit paths and understand, in a dynamic perspective, how your web site is
perceived by the surfers.
ShinyStat has developed an innovative software which generates a graphic representation of the visit paths,
so as to provide a precise and easy-to-use overview of the behavior of your visitors. The ShinyStat graph is extremely
flexible and highly customizable so that you can choose to display a general overview or a single visit path in detail.

Report Data Export |
 |
|
In the Business Version, thanks to an easy-to-use checklist, you can select the report data to export and also
choose your favorite export file format according to your own needs. By exporting data in PDF and
PostScript formats, reports can be printed in high quality. The CSV format allows you to import report
data into electronic sheets (such as Microsoft Excel) where they can be processed and presented in your
favorite graph types and tables.

Benchmarking |
 |
Benchmarking is a measuring method which helps you evaluate and improve your performance. Unlike the traditional
Competitor Analysis, Benchmarking allows you to expand your survey into a much broader field. The ShinyStat Business
Benchmarking is based on a monthly aggregation of a large amount of data generated by the traffic of a selected group
of web sites (more than 100,000) that are using the ShinyStat service. The traffic generated by such a high
number of web sites offers a standout sample, which is highly representative for the data it provides about the
activities and the preferences of the Italian Internet market. For some categories, ShinyStat offers the Category
Benchmarking where, unlike General Benchmarking, you can measure your site against a sample of sites in your same
category.
To benchmark your site, you need to use the 'Performance Indicators', i.e. a series of objective parameters to
compare and measure your site traffic. In ShinyStat Business we have selected for you the following Performance
Indicators:
- Visits per month
- Page views per month
- New visitors per month
- Average time spent on site
- Average time spent per page
- Average page views per visit
- Percentage of direct requests
- Percentage of visits from search engines
- Percentage of visits from sites
